At the Carers’ Centre we want young carers to have the same opportunities and life chances as their friends and peers. As young people grow up and want to become independent their are times in their lives when they have to think about big decisions that affect their lives.
Whether it’s leaving school, going to uni’, taking a holiday with friends, that first job or place of your own, young carers may be concerned about the affect their caring role may have on the decisions made.
For this reason we have a service dedicated to supporting Young Adult Carers (age 15 plus)
The staff of the Young Adult Carers can provide information and support on arrange of topics, such as those above, and many others that affect young adult carers.
Information on the Young Adult Carers’ Service is attached on the leaflet opposite or if you rather talk to someone please call Adele or Frances on the office number, 0141 638 2600
